Introduction
Things are always moving fast around here but this week was truly wild! Our first ever conference, web3con, brought together some of the biggest names in the space, and now judging is underway for the 58 hackathon teams that submitted before the deadline. At the same time the moment-we’ve-all-been-waiting-for™ is upon us: Coordinape voting for early contributor governance tokens is open! Instructions below….
On top of all that, there are some essential questions to address about how the DAO will operate in Season 1. There are ongoing discussions throughout the DAO - particularly in #❓-season-zero-questions - around guild leadership, project funding, Season goals, and more. Yeah… it’s a lot. But judging by how this week went; how we have SO much to show for the efforts of our members up to this point, the juice is going to be worth the squeeze. So get in here and vote/build/write/design/contribute in the way that only you can!

D_D Coordinape is now live
Head to Coordinape to list your contributions to D_D, opt in (or not) to receive GIVE tokens, and reward those you think have been driving the DAO forward. As a reminder, these are the voting guidelines we recommend:
1. Start with your immediate team and those you have collaborated with directly since the beginning of D_D. These members should receive the majority of your votes (as long as that makes sense).
2. Think about contributors who have made a DAO-wide impact.
3. Look for contributors whose contributions are undervalued by the current GIVE distribution (see the Map tab in Coordinape for a visualization of the current distribution).
4. Distribute some of your GIVE immediately and then distribute the remaining amount towards the end of the Epoch to help those that are not opted-in at first.
Foul play (e.g. voting from multiple wallets to hoard GIVE) will not be tolerated. If evidence is found, you will be removed from the epoch.
For a full write-up on the early contributor token distribution process, check out this wiki page. For questions, head to #coordinape-discussion, #coordinape-nominations, #coordinape-support in Discord.
New: D_D job board!
Head to our new D_D job board for over 150 job listings across engineering, product, design, marketing, etc. with companies / projects such as Protocol Labs, Livepeer, Polygon, Hedera, Edge & Node, and others. Vote on these open D_D Proposals:
The proposal for D_D Treasury allocation to reward full-time contributions of core staff through the end of June, 2022 has passed the forum vote and is now up for Snapshot voting. Please cast your vote here.
We have a new proposal to amend the token allocation to the founding team and advisors, which is up for forum voting here.
